Give me a safe place, dear Lord. You, alone, O Lord, make me dwell safely:

 We will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,

Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains tremble at its roaring. Selah
(Psalm 46). We will pause and think calmly of the Name above all names, Jesus: Lord Omnipotent, Sovereign, LORD over all the earth.

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth” Psalm 46:10.

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth
” Psalm 46:10.

The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah
Psalm 46:11.

Today. This day. We, “Pause and calmly think of that!”

“O God, give me noble and praise-worthy thoughts. I will speak a hymn and a psalm and immediately be changed from fear to faith:

Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me, save that thou art

Thou my best thought, by day or by night
Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light

Keep my thoughts on things above, not on things of the earth.

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23.

The only separation from me to You, Holy God of the Universe, is my sin. My unbelief, my pride to think I am enough without You. There is not a person on this planet able to escape evil thoughts, covetousness, selfishness, and lies.

I can never be good enough to come into Your presence. But Christ Jesus bridged the gap as He stretched out His arms for me on the cross.

Your Word is truth:

Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word

I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord
Thou my great Father, and I thy true son

Thou in me dwelling and I with thee one

Am I separate from God, or am I His “true son?” Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved” Romans 10:13.

Call on Him, Today.

Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise
Thou mine inheritance, now and always
Thou and thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven, my treasure thou art

From the kingdom of darkness I’ve escaped, in the name of Jesus, to the Kingdom of Light. My inheritance is Love. Joy, peace, patience, kindness are empowered in and through me by the power and gift given to me of the Holy Spirit.

I’ve inherited the faithful, keeping hand of God to hold me for all eternity. I have reason to be thankful in every circumstance. I am a child of God. He has made me victorious in faith in Him!

High King of heaven, my victory won
May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s sun

Heart of my own heart, whatever befall

Still be my vision, O ruler of all

Psalm 46, Amplified:

God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],
A very present and well-proved help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,

Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains tremble at its roaring. Selah.

(Pause and think calmly of that!)

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
The holy dwelling places of the Most High.

God is in the midst of her [His city], she will not be moved;
God will help her when the morning dawns.

The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered and were moved;
He raised His voice, the earth melted.

The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah.

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has brought desolations and wonders on the earth.

He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two;
He burns the chariots with fire.

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah.

Pause and calmly think of that!

Remember the prisoners as if chained with them–those who are mistreated–since you yourselves are in the body also.

4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

7 Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:3-8.

“Be Thou my vision, O Ruler of all.”

Yes, I make mention of the enemy of mankind. His days are numbered. We must keep that in mind . . .

We believer’s in God are instructed to “pray in Jesus’ name.” And we do to bind the work of the enemy  each and every day.

We pray for God who is greatest to bind this enemy—the deceiver, the lier, the father of lies, the hater, the stealer, the destroyer of mankind.

Lucifer by name, was cast out of heaven. This story is not made up in some fairy-tale book. It’s found in Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Chapter 12 in the Revelation’s Book. Ask, seek, and knock as you search . . .
and look.

He was cast out by God and sent to earth. He is on earth twisting words, bringing pain, destroying. In lives, deceptions . . .
he births.

He wants everyone to believe he doesn’t exist. His name can’t even be mentioned. He’s deceived the world that God is to blame for all of this!

But God so loved the word that He sent down His Son. Jesus told us in this world we would have tribulation. Satan is working to deceive the whole world, . . .
but Jesus came.

The very Word.
To lay down His life.
Whoever believes—receives . . . eternal life. He is Lord.

Heaven is the place we will call home.

We are simply passing through.

Created by God in this broken world to do one great thing—and that . . . to proclaim His name.

So, the deceiver, the hater of all of mankind has done his job to make sure the Book is closed. He paints his pictures throughout the earth with pointing fingers, brining guilt, or prideful poses.

But God is not anxious. God does not pace. From the Beginning in Genesis to the End in His Word, God’s Rescue Plan is proclaimed. Yes, Satan will bruise the heal of the Lord, . . .

But God has crushed the serpent’s head, and his numbered days have been told.
Warning, warning! The alarm must no longer be on snooze. ARISE, the Gospel message was sent. We need this Good News.

Everyone on this earth is loved by God. Get your eyes up, and your heart humbled, and soft. Stop pointing fingers. Let your focus be Him.

Read His word. Satan’s days are about to come to an end.

Satan is cast out of heaven. Sent down to earth to deceive. But God . . .

is on the throne.

His arms are opened wide. He gives wisdom, and healing, and power, to all who receive.

Receive. Him. Receive Truth.
Read God’s Word. It is time to stop weeping. It is time to . . . Believe:

“A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.

 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.

 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”

 And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

 Then war broke out in heaven.

Michael and his angels fought against the dragon,

 and the dragon and his angels fought back.

 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.

 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
    and the kingdom of our God,

    and the authority of his Messiah.

For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
    who accuses them before our God day and night,
    has been hurled down.

11 They triumphed over him
    by the blood of the Lamb

    and by the word of their testimony;

they did not love their lives so much
    as to shrink from death.

 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
    and you who dwell in them!

But woe to the earth and the sea,
    because the devil has gone down to you!

He is filled with fury,
    because he knows that his time is short.”

 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.

 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.

 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.

 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus,” Revelation 12:1-17.

 Where can we find the fall of Satan?

Isaiah 14:12-14. Ezekiel 28:14-18. Luke 10:18. Revelation 12:3-4. Revelation 12:9.

Read. Read God’s Word—that you might have ability to see and understand.

Pray without ceasing at this time, in our dark day.

The Light is coming. Our King is on His way.

What will keep the children safe?

A mama prays always for ‘safety’ for her children. That’s just what being a mama is all about! Eating the right foods to have the ‘safety’ of good health and energy. Wearing the right clothes to stay ‘safely’ healthy and comfortable.Teaching the ‘way home’ for now… and forever,and encouraging a ‘safe’ attitude about school so that one day each child can get a job! But God simplifies for His children what will keep them ‘safe’, when it’s all said and done: “Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord.” (Phil 3:1, words of Paul while he was sitting in a cold,dank jail cell!)
Yes, God inspired and breathed words that were to be placed in the Holy Bible during a physically miserable time in Paul’s life, yet he pens: ” Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.” (Phil 3:1.) Paul even goes on to write in the same letter, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Phil 4:4). The exclamation point and all, in the cold, dank jail. And he writes so as God’s children stay ‘safe.’
Foundational to emotional health and spiritual health is no mystery, God makes it plain. Did you know that when the foundation of the 2nd Temple (of Zurubbabel) was being laid in Israel, (because the 1st Temple of Solomon was destroyed by the Babylonians) we have recorded for us the entire eye witness account? Being that God reminds us, “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own?”(1 Cor. 6:19). Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, what is foundational for us to stay safe? Here’s the account:
“When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks unto the LORD;
“For He is good, For his mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.” (Ezra 3:10-110.

That’s not just recorded once in this hidden letter in the Old Testament. God makes sure this is put in the Bible again- this is foundational! Foundational to keep His children safe- is a thankful heart!
No matter what! Psalm 107:1, “O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” That’s how Paul could write when he had no idea what his future held, “Rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for YOU it is safe.” Children, young and old, whether in green pastures or rough seas, take hold of something foundational- it is easy to ‘give thanks to the Lord’ when we, His children remember, He doesn’t give us what we deserve, He gives us grace and mercy forever! This earth is not our home, we have a home being prepared for us in heaven, “if it were not so, I would have told you”, Jesus told us in John 14.
Do you need some good news? Do you need help being thankful? This is the Song that was sung when the 2nd Temple was being laid. Maybe your Temple has been torn down like the first Temple of Solomon was, but a song was sung when the foundation was being laid for the 2nd. God is a God of 2nd chances, shall we gather together as in that day Ezra recorded and sing that same song? Fathers, Mothers, children; families- lets stay safe and gather together:
OH, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, And gathered out of the lands,… they wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way,That they might go to a city for habitation.
Oh that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the hungry soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.” (Psalm 107:1-9).

But that’s not all, the song has more, so rich and full of healing…”He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.”(Ps. 107:20). But take note, these healing words come AFTER, “Fools because of transgression, And because of iniqities, were aflilicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near the gates of death. THEN…”
the pause is mine, “Selah”, because God’s children mess up! Just like the mamas and the papas and the children of the world,but do you want to see God…
“…then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses!” ( Ps. 107:19. exclamation point mine!)
Children, young and old, all the children of the world, ‘red, brown, yellow, black, and white’ you are all precious in His sight -“God who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth…so they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being…”
(Acts 17:24-27).
“Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.” (Psalm 107:21,22).

“Lord, keep us safe…keep Your children THANKFUL! Because GOD, You are good!” in Jesus name, Amen.
Do I hear an “Amen?”
